Lucy McRae

My take aways from this video are how amazing the idea of body formation being changed is. Humans being able to change ourselves physically is something that could change all social thoughts the human race has. Physically we could talk to each other ,and not need to bother using more modern methods of communication. Lucy's effective speaking technique is how she is so passionate about her work, and that makes her TED point come across all the better. Her presentation style is to show many pictures and videos and then describe them. This works well since McRae is talking about a subject that is very visual. What really matters to the entire world in this video is how humans developed language and writing to communicate, and new technology might make it obsolete. Animals such as squid and peacocks communicate using color on their bodies. Humans could not do this and therefore needed a way to get ideas across. As a result, language was developed. Now with technology, humans may evolve backwards to work the way less sophisticated animals do. This is a very feasible idea in the future, and will very likely happen.
